WHAT DOES TELEIOS MEAN

The Greek word teleios means: Mature or full grown, having arrived at an end or objective. In Mathew 5:48 Jesus says: Ye must be teleioi (masculine plural) as your heavenly Father is teleios (masculine singular).

how does it work

How do I get involved?
There are two main ways that we help men get involved in a group. We either help him start a group with friends, or we can plug him into an existing group. We currently have over 80 groups in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area.
What is the format?
We do our best to model each group after Act 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Most of our groups last 75 to 90 minutes and meet weekly. Each week we spend the first 30 to 40 minutes reading a chapter of scripture and then discussing it. After that we check in with each guy and he has a chance to share what is going on in his life. We finish each weekly gathering with prayer
What is shared?
We talk about everything from home life to work to recreation and spirituality. Each man is encouraged to share at whatever level he is comfortable with.
